spatial tactics is a solo exhibition of new photomedia work by Leif Anderson. The urban environment is Anderson’s muse. As an open structure of shared societal experience, urban life provides a bounty of source material. He explores the ways in which diverse lifestyles, philosophies and beliefs intersect and co-exist within density. He states, My desire is to take the things I’ve heard and seen as source, then create new unions of illusion in space and time.” Conscious of an underlying anxious energy, Anderson’s intent is to set-up interactions and mediations that produce a spiritual enlivenment of the urban milieu. Spatial tactics features both digital pigment prints and video by Leif Anderson.
